Dvoted.net received Nöjesguiden's film award
Every year the Swedish Nöjesguiden ('The Entertainment Guide') hands out a number of prizes to people and institutions that have had extra merits for the inhabitants of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. This year the prestigious film prize was awarded to Dvoted.net.
The idea behind the prize is to reward activities and persons that stimulate other people to strive for new future goals.
Nöjesguiden's motivation behind the nomination:
'Dvoted is quite unique, it is actually the first Nordic web initiative for young filmmakers. A meeting place where one can get feedback and advice from professionals, a place where seminars and competitions are held, and which also functions as a community. In Sweden it has been Emma Gray Munthe from the Swedish Film Institute who has held the reigns during the first year. Dvoted is a very deserving initiative and, Nöjesguiden has always appreciated deserving things.”
