Dancing Youth establishes a new arena for hip hop and break dance in Norway
Arts Council Norway has granted support to the dance and theatre company Dancing Youth for establishing a new centre for hip hop and break dance in the district of Grønland in Oslo.
Dancing Youth works with young dance and theatre talents. The elite group (the best dancers) in Dancing Youth, Cre-8, are doing a good job with performances an choreography, inter alia, in connection with the Scandinavian version of the TV show 'So you think you can dance'.
Dancing Youth have an ambition to perfect the dance company Cre-8 by means of workshops with instructors from abroad an international dance environments. They are also going to co-operate with companies such as Floorknights and Nordic Black Theatre.
