Young people’s films about privacy protection on the Web

Pupils of Norwegian junior high schools have shot six films about privacy protection. These short films constitute one part of the educational campaign ’Du bestemmer’ (’You decide’), dedicated to privacy protection and run by the Norwegian Ministry of Government Administration and Reforms.

The message of the six short films is clear: think twice before you publish information about yourself on the Internet!
The campaign ’You decide’ is aimed at reaching young people and adopts their own language. Most of the films employ sound and lighting effects from horror films. The films show how pictures and private information can reach unwanted recipients.
