Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the autonomous areas; The Faeroe
Islands, Greenland and The Åland Islands. The national editors are

Signe Thomsen

sth@boernekultur.dkSigne Thomsen is employed by the Danish Network for Children and Culture and is responsible for the portal www.boernogkultur.dk. Here she writes about projects, events and other major initiatives in the field of child and youth culture. Signe has worked with communications since she graduated from university in 2004 where she studied French and Danish.

She is also responsible for Valhalla's Finnish and Nordic news and all the translations from the Scandinavian languages to Finnish. Tarja is educated as a teacher and a web editor. Her work place is NIFIN – the Nordic Institute in Finland, in Helsinki.
The Faroe Islands

hedvig@nlh.fo Hedvig Westerlund-Kapnas works with children and youth related initiatives in the Nordic House in the Faeroe Islands. Hedvig has been in charge of, inter alia, Ung i Norden in the Faeroe Islands 2006, the Faeroese school touring programme Listaleypurin and the biennial youth culture rally Ung í Föroyum.

boas@napa.glKatja Nyborg is a communications advisor at NAPA – the Nordic Institute of Greenland. She is in charge of the contacts with Valhalla, Nordic Culture Point and Nordplus and sees to it that news of efficient Greenlandic major players involved in culture become visible all over the Nordic region. Before joining NAPA Katja was journalist and host of a radio magazine in Greenland.

Ilmur Dögg Gísladóttir is a project manager and web editor at the Nordic House in Iceland. She has a BA in literature and MA in culture. At the Nordic House she works with various projects, e.g., Iceland Airwaves, the Nordic Fashion Biennale, the Reykjavík International Film Festival, exhibitions and events. Ilmur is also editor of Prjona.net. |

Kirsten.Verling@kulturrad.noKirsten Verling is Valhalla's Norwegian editor. She is adviser at the Norwegian Archive, Library and Museum Authority (ABM-utvikling), in the department of digital ALM . At the Norwegian Archive, Library and Museum Authority she is responsible for editing Kulturnett.no and works with meta data.

The Åland Islands

maria.jonsson@nipa.ax Maria Jonsson is information advisor at the Nordic Institute in Åland. She is in charge of marketing of the Institute and the cultural dialogue, mainly between Åland and the rest of the Nordic region, for every age group. Her place of work is in Mariehamn. Maria is a trained teacher and graphic designer.
